Women Entrepreneurs Finance Code – Credins Bank Kosovo’s Commitment
Credins Bank Kosovo has joined the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Code (WE Finance Code), a global initiative aimed at reducing the gap in access to finance and supporting the development of women-owned and women-led businesses.
Through this commitment, the Bank contributes to the empowerment of women entrepreneurs and to sustainable economic development in Kosovo.
The Bank’s Main Commitments
Within the framework of the WE Finance Code, Credins Bank Kosovo is committed to three main areas:
1. Leadership and Institutional Commitment
- Appointment of the Bank’s representative within the initiative
- Allocation of resources and staff involvement in the implementation of the initiative
- Promotion of gender equality in internal policies and practices
- Raising awareness and promoting financial opportunities for women-led businesses
2. Data and Transparency
- Collection and reporting of gender-disaggregated data
- Analysis of the challenges women entrepreneurs face in accessing finance
- Improvement of reporting and transparency systems
- Publication of relevant data in annual reports
3. Concrete Actions and Financial Products
- Development of financial products dedicated to women-led businesses
- Provision of more favorable terms and tailored services
- Increasing the participation of women in the Bank’s business customer portfolio
- Encouraging the use of banking products and digital solutions
Purpose of the Initiative
Through this commitment, Credins Bank Kosovo aims to improve access to finance for women entrepreneurs, support the growth of their businesses, and contribute to gender equality and economic development in the country.
